Body scan and personal strength: My personal stress is helping one another being a great listener and being able to solve problems I love giving back to the community
Support structure: In my body Map you will see three People which include my mom me and my auntie those two ladies are my biggest support you will see three chins linked together which represented me my mom and my mom’s mom all three sickened with Covid even my auntie but she was the stronger one she nursed me and my mom back to health the link was broken when we lost one my grandma so you will see in my body map where the link is separated
Future: I pray every night that I will overcome the long haul of Covid I can see me in the future doing things I love in my map you will see me outside walking my dogs and going to the parks I really enjoy outdoors I will be spending more time with my family cooking for others again and just enjoying life
Message to others: Please note that Covid is real stay safe and protect yourself and others please do not ignore signs if you’re having any symptoms, please seek medical attention and for those who have family members with long haul symptoms please be patient with them note that it's real and sometimes hard to explain why they are still experiencing Symptoms that may be causing them to not be their self.
“I'm in my Mid 40s I have five children six grandchildren one sister and only two nieces. I've been a cook now over 20 some years I work in the medical field as a cook which I enjoy I cook on the side I even cater parties and I love when the holidays come because I'm the cook in the family I enjoy cooking for my family it brings me great joy to see them smile and to hear t hem talking about the food putting their requesting for the next year family is even to me I really love being around my family we are very close we do a lot together we plan trips together we even stay overnight at each other's house on Christmas Eve we have a big sleep over we bring Christmas in with one another we rotate houses next year the host want to host in a cabin I can't wait that's pretty much my life my family.” - COVID Long Hauler
